Leadership in Nonprofit Organizations

Leadership in the nonprofit sector shares many similarities in both theory and practice with leadership and management in other sectors. However, there are many unique characteristics that distinguish nonprofit organizations from corporate or governmental bodies. In addition, there are wide variety of nonprofit organizations, from religious congregations to educational institutions. This guide is intended as an introduction and orientation to information sources in the field of nonprofit leadership for students in the Nonprofit Management Minor. While it can hopefully serve anyone with interest in the nonprofit sector, it will be particularly helpful to those who are enrolled in MAN-3103 Management of Nonprofit Organizations
